General Surgery Residency Training Program

Our Participating Hospitals

Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center

The rotation at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center exposes residents to a wide variety of oncologic pathologies and to globally-recognized surgeons' approaches. Rotations include the highly-esteemed colorectal surgery service and gastric mixed-tumor service: covering everything from adrenal tumors to metastatic melanoma, and, of course, robotic gastric tumor resection.

Multidisciplinary conferences are held weekly bringing together surgeons, pathologists, oncologists, and radiologists to study and to tackle the most aggressive and rare tumors diagnosed worldwide. In addition to training in the operating room, our residents also have the amazing opportunity to get involved in research projects headed by world-renown faculty members.
